Over the weekend, Rihanna attended a ‘Reggae on the Hill’ festival in Barbados (April 26th)rocking a tiny powder blue mini-dress. At the gig, reggae singer Beenie Man put Rihanna on the spot and blasted her up in front of her hometown Barbados when he called for her to join him on stage.

Singing a very off-key version of the hook to her monster hit ‘Umbrella’, Beenie Man was heard singing the following line: “Me no have no fancy car, but me nah give you no scar” (his referral to Chris Brown beating her up; his court arraignment takes place later today). The crowd was bugin out!

I do not think he was trying to play her out but I am sure she is tired of hearing about it and to be put on blast in her hometown prob was embarrassing or maybe not!

“The soloist” is a must see & our boy Jamie delivered as he always does! Jamie portrayed Nathaniel Ayers a homeless, schizophrenic musical genius who formulates a friendship with a washed up journalist Steve Lopez played by Robert Downy Jr. This film is about triumph, tradgedy, struggle, freedom, poverty, hard times & more importantly friendship as well as love! Please if you have not seen it as of yet grab the one you love, a friend or the one who loves you and check it out!

The movie is great & Jamie is phenomenal, I am sure he will be winning an Oscar & or a Grammy for this one! Also the movie is based on a true story that took place reletively a couple of years back, which makes it that much more intense! Bravo Bravo!

Singer Songwriter Keri Hilson finished up the  “ I Am Music Tour” a couple of weeks back in Detroit  with Lil Wayne and made appearances all over the city.  Keri held her official after party at Premium Night Club which I heared was off the chain.  However, it was her CD signing at the popular Puffer Reds clothing store that got the city talking.  The fans who came out to meet Ms. Keri said the singer has a funky attitude and is a “ Rude Conceited B*tch” Wow.

According to Keri’s people the singer was a little under the weather and lost her voice and that’s the reason why she could not speak. This guy is really peed & I can def feeling him I hate when people don’t give their all, if she was truly under the weather she would have been better off staying home! Truth 2 Power!!

The Queen of Gossip, Wendy Williams was suspended by the New York Radio station WBLS. WBLS suspended her indefinitely pending the results of her current investigation. As you may recall from scoop last year, Nicole Spence, former booking agent for the show, has filed a formal complaint with the E.E.O.C. claiming that Wendy has been retaliating against her ever since she complained about the unwanted sexual advances.

Wendy Williams’ co-host on her radio show, Charlamagne, has been assigned to a new job in Philadelphia. Rumor has it that WBLS may give Williams a new show with a new concept when they allow her to return.

 Wendy Williams’ talent booker levied some explosive accusations at the radio queen’s husband. Nicole Spence filed a complaint with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, claiming that Wendy’s hubby, Kevin Hunter, crudely demanded sex from Nicole. She also says Hunter repeatedly beat Wendy in and around the studio! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Usher hosted a industry event in L.A. this past Monday to indruce his new artist/protégé Justin Bieber. Bieber is a 15-year-old who’s currently getting radio airplay with the Chris “Tricky” Stewart-produced single “One Time.” The luncheon that Usher put together at The Sunset Tower Hotel was to help promote his Ontario-born teen artist who he discovered on YouTube. I’m tellin’ you…YouTube is a great tool to promote yourself! Bieber began posting homemade videos from his 2007 second-place contestant stint on a local singing competition.

He later auditioned for Usher and ultimately got signed by Island Def Jam chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid, reports Billboard.com. Bieber is currently in Atlanta recording “My World,” his Island Records debut due later this year. He collaborated with The-Dream and Midi Mafia. A video for “One Time” was shot on Monday.

Usher described the artist as a “young phenomenon. He’s definitely a priority for me and Island Def Jam.”
